The accolades continue to roll in for
senior quarterback Ryan Nassib for his record-breaking game against
Northwestern this past Saturday. Nassib has been named a Manning Award Star of
the Week along with being named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for
the week of Sept. 3rd. Nassib is one of nine quarterbacks that have been named a
Star of the Week by the Manning Award which is sponsored by the All State Sugar
Bowl.

In an impressive performance, Nassib set
the Orange single-game records for completions (45), attempts (66), and yards
(482) as well as setting the BIG EAST single-game pass attempts record and tying
the conference completion record. Nassib tallied 512 yards out of Syracuse's 596
yards of total offense against the Wildcats and threw for four touchdowns. He
now sits in second on the SU career touchdown passes list with 48.
