Dunkin' Donuts Hometown Hero Contest

VESTAL, N.Y.—Dunkin’ Donuts will help local students honor their teachers by hosting an interactive contest, asking fans to nominate their favorite educator as their “hometown hero”. It has been said that “teachers are the heroes of tomorrow.” Show your appreciation to your teacher by telling us how he/she has helped educate you.

The Dunkin’ Donuts Hometown Hero Appreciation Contest invites local students to write a short paragraph (150 words or less) describing their teacher and why he/she has been a positive influence on their lives.

The contest will run during the 2012-13 Binghamton University Basketball season. The deadline for nominations is Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. The winner will be announced at the Binghamton University Basketball Game on Feb. 16. The grand prize winner will be awarded with Dunkin Donuts coffee for a year.
