PINSTRIPE BOWL TROPHY TOUR STOPS AT SU

The 2012 New Era Pinstripe Bowl George M. Steinbrenner Trophy will be making a stop in Syracuse this weekend! Fans are welcome to come out on Friday, Dec. 7, and Saturday, Dec. 8, to take a picture with the trophy that will be awarded to the winner of this year's 2012 New Era Pinstripe Bowl between Syracuse and West Virginia on Dec. 29th (3:15 p.m.; ESPN). Fans are encouraged to tweet their picture at the New Era Pinstripe Bowl's official Twitter account, @PinstripeBowl.  The picture will serve as an entry to win a pair of tickets to the game.

 
Below is the schedule of the Steinbrenner's Trophy visit to Syracuse:
 
Friday December 7th:
8 a.m. – Tops Grocery Store on Nottingham Road in Syracuse
11:30 a.m. – Schine Student Center
5 p.m. - Red Robin Restaurant in Fayetteville, N.Y.
 
Saturday December 8th:
9 a.m. - Dunkin Donuts (Location TBD)
10:30 a.m. - Clinton Square Ice Skating Rink (Weather permitting)  
12 p.m. –SU women's basketball  game vs. Loyola at the Carrier Dome
3:30 p.m. – Varsity Pizza
7 p.m. - SU men's basketball game vs. Monmouth at the Carrier Dome
 
The Steinbrenner Trophy will also be making an appearance on the CNY Central Morning Show at 6:30 a.m. and on Upon Further Review on ESPN 97.7 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Follow Syracuse on Twitter, @Cuse, to keep up with the trophy's visit to SU and utilize hashtags #SUpinstripe and #OrangeNation when discussing the bowl game.
