Action-packed weekend ahead for DIRTcar 358-Modified, Sportsman Modified and Pro Stock Series

Race weekends at Brighton Speedway and Le RPM Speedway

WEEDSPORT, N. Y. - With NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week just a few weeks away, some of the DIRTcar series are heating up for their final races before the "Moody Mile."
The DIRTcar 358-Modified Series will be running this Friday, Sept. 20, at Le RPM Speedway in St. Marcel de Richlieu, Quebec, and Saturday, Sept. 21, at Brighton Speedway in Brighton, Ontario.
Erick Rudolph leads the series in points after a strong fourth-place finish Sunday, Sept. 15, at Mohawk International Raceway. DIRTcar stars Carey Terrance, Mat Wililamson, David Hebert and Mario Clair are all vying for the point lead, all within 100 points of Rudolph.
The DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series is also running at both Canadian tracks, with the Sporstman Modified Series kicking off Brighton Speedway's Applefest Weekend Friday, Sept. 20, and then heading to Le RPM Speedway for a 50-lap special Saturday, Sept. 21.

Last year's DIRTcar Pro Stock Series Champion Joey Ladouceur leads in points for the DIRTcar Sportsman Series heading into the weekend's event, but Mathieu Desjardins in second and Brad Rouse in third are both ready to make their move for the top spot.

Stephane Lebrun currently leads in 2013 DIRTcar Pro Stock Series, and he'll be put to the test Saturday, Sept. 21, when the series invades Le RPM Speedway for a 50-lap feature. Pro Stock stars Dave Bissonnette, P. J. Peters, Rob Yetman, Jocelyn Roy, Roch Aubin and Alain Brochu are ready for the challenge in the series's last race before NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week XLII.
