Sunday Sportsman, Super DIRTcar Series Events in Brockville Canceled

BROCKVILLE, ONTARIO - Oct. 14, 2012 - The Super DIRTcar Series and DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series events scheduled for today at Brockville Ontario Speedway have been canceled due to inclement weather. The two series events, part of Thousand Islands RV Fall Nationals, will not be rescheduled.

Point standings for the DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series as of events at NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week XLI in Syracuse will serve as final standings for the 2012 season.

The Super DIRTcar Series continues next Sunday, Oct. 21, at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, N. Y., before heading south for the 6th annual PEAK Motor Oil World of Outlaws World FInals presented by NAPA Auto Parts Thursday, Nov. 1, through Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N. C.

The Super DIRTcar Series and DIRTcar Racing in the Northeast Region is brought to fans by several sponsors and partners including Hoosier Racing Tire, VP Racing Fuels, Chevy Performance Parts, Gander Mountain, NAPA Auto Parts, Nationwide Insurance, and Safety-Kleen. Promotional partners include the University of Northwestern Ohio.
