ALBANY, N.Y. -- UAlbany had five players recognized on the 2012 Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-Region Teams, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association on Thursday.

America East Conference Offensive Player of the Year Daphne Voormolen, Goalkeeper of the Year Kristi Troch, and all-conference first team members Corrine McConville and Jessica Longstreth were First-Team All-Northeast Region, while America East Rookie of the Year Laura Page was an All-Region Second Team selection.

Each of the five regions nationally had 16 players recognized on each first and second team. UAlbany's representatives were joined on the Northeast region squad by players from Boston College, Northeastern, UMass, and America East rivals New Hampshire, Maine, and Boston U. The Great Danes had the most players of any team in the Northeast on the First Team.

McConville and Longstreth are repeat members of the All-Region First Team. McConville, who was an NFHCA Division I All-American last season, also earned All-Region Second Team honors as a freshman.
