completed a double-double with 11 digs to lead UAlbany to a 3-0 sweep of New Hampshire in the second America
East Conference Volleyball Semifinal match on Friday evening at University Gymnasium. The Great Danes posted
set scores of 25-23, 25-15, and 25-14 to secure their
spot in the championship
match.

Prgomet led the Great Danes through the contested first set, finishing with a set-high six kills. Traci Vandegrift added four kills and nine digs, along with UAlbany's lone service ace, while America East Defensive Specialist of the Year Viktoriia Stroilo came up with 12 digs. New Hampshire's Abigail Brinkman finished with a team-high four kills for the Wildcats, who outblocked UAlbany, 4-3, in the set.
The Great Danes controlled the second set from the get-go, getting six kills on .857 hitting from freshman Tatum Jungsten. A member of the All-Rookie Team, Jungsten came up with the only block by either team in the set. Vandegrift continued her strong all-around play, recording a team-best six digs to go along with three kills. Brinkman finished with a team-best three kills for New Hampshire, who was held to .111 hitting in the set.

America East Conference Player of the Year Sara Pope hit .667 in the set, recording four kills and one block assist. Stroilo and Lindsey McCloskey each recorded five digs, while Vandegrift totaled two kills, two digs, and two blocks. Brinkman, who led New Hampshire with 10 total kills in the match, finished the set with a team-best three kills.
UAlbany held New Hampshire to .071 hitting as a team, outblocking the Wildcats, 7-0, in the match. Victoria Forrest and Destiny Tolliver each recorded six kills for New Hampshire, who finishes up the season at 15-14 overall.

UAlbany (14-14) advances to the America East Championship match on Saturday, facing Binghamton at 7 p.m. The Bearcats defeated UMBC, 3-2, in the first semifinal match to advance to the championship match.
