They complete a coaching staff that includes sixth-year head coach Nicole Scholl and assistant coaches Sarah Cartmill and Leah Truncale.

Marshall arrives from Army, where he was an assistant coach the past five seasons. During his time at West Point, he helped coach eight Patriot League all-star selections. The Black Knights went 22-9 this past year and earned a bid to the WNIT. In 2008-09, Army finished the season with 19 wins.

A 2008 graduate of Ramapo College, Marshall was a four-year letterwinner and two-year team captain for the Roadrunners.

Cooper, meanwhile, was the head coach at Ohio State-Mansfield this past season. He has also been the head coach of the Ohio Glory women’s AAU program since 2011.

From 2009-12, Cooper was the head boy’s basketball coach and athletic director at Veritas Academy, which is located in Worthington, Ohio. He led the squad to a program-record 15 wins during the 2009-10 season.

In 2008, Cooper earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio State-Mansfield.

“We are excited to have Jason and Jermaine join our staff for this season,” Scholl said. “Jason brings a wealth of experience from his time at Army and will have an immediate impact in working with our perimeter players. Jermaine is an up-and-coming young coach and will do well here in taking over some of our day-to-day operations.”
