Derek Frost had a three goal and two assist day as the visiting Potsdam Bears defeated the Hartwick Hawks, 14-5, in men's lacrosse Saturday.
After spotting the Hawks a 1-0 lead, on Harry Hughes goal just 56 seconds into the game, the Bears Rob Kunz tied the contest at 1-1. Potsdam then had back to back goals by Kyle Nicholas putting Potsdam up for good. The Bears held a 9-2 edge at the break.
Potsdam built a 10 goal advantage lead in the second half but Hartwick's Harry Hughes scored with 1:28 left in the game, as the Bears left Oneonta with a 14-5 win.
