Friday Night Lights’ series to serve as fundraising tool
TROY, NY- The Tri-City ValleyCats
announced today that they will host six Section II high school baseball
games at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium during three consecutive Friday
nights this spring. Each night will serve as a fundraising tool for
participating schools and charitable endeavors such as the ValleyCats field
renovation program and Coaches vs. Cancer.
‘Friday Night Lights’ at
“The Joe” begins on April 26 with Ballston Spa taking on
Burnt-Hills Ballston Lake at 4:30 p.m. followed by Shenendehowa vs.
Shaker at 7:30 p.m.. On May 3, Fort Plain will take on Saratoga Catholic
at 4:30 p.m. followed by Columbia vs. Saratoga at 7:30
p.m..
The conclusion of “Friday Night Lights” on May 10 will
be a fundraising event dedicated to Coaches vs. Cancer. At 4:30 p.m.,
Guilderland takes on Bethlehem, and at 7:30 p.m. Christian Brothers Academy will
face Troy High.
Tickets for the general public are $5 and are
available online at www.tcvalleycats.com or at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium Box
Office during regular business hours. Tickets will also be available for
purchase at “The Joe” on the day of each game. All seating is general
admission.
