ALBANY, N.Y. -- The University at
Albany softball team (15-7, 3-0 AE) will host Siena College (6-15, 0-0 MAAC) on
Thursday, April 4 at Albany Field. First pitch is slated for 4:00 p.m. UAlbany
has defeated the crosstown rival Saints in the two’s last four match-ups. The
Great Danes have won five of the last six meetings. They meet twice annually,
once at each home location.

At the UMBC
Spring Classic, Siena recorded their best wins against Georgetown, 5-4, and
Morgan State, 16-3. Sophomore Paige Llyod leads the Saints. She currently has a
team-best .413 batting average, 19-for-46, adding nine RBIs and 31 total bases.
They’ve struggled on the mound with a combined team ERA of 7.56. Siena lead the
MAAC in batting average (.293), slugging percentage (.416) and on-base
percentage (.364). They have a conference-low .935 fielding
percentage.
