B-Mets Top Sea Dogs 7-5

The B-Mets Bullpen combined for 5.1 scoreless innnings of relief and Binghamton tallied double-digit hits for the second straight game in a 7-5 win over the Portland Sea Dogs last night at NYSEG Stadium. Erick Turgeon, Robert Carson, and Josh Edgin helped Piece together the win for the B-Mets after Greg Peavey suffered his worst start as a B-Met. the righty allowed five runs on eight hits over 3.2 innings. Turgeon entered in the fourth and tossed 2.1 scoreless innings. Carson worked a shutout seventh and Edgin pitched the eigth and ninth to secure his second save. The B-Mets offense led by Josh Rodriguez's 3-for-3 night, collected eleven hits. Rodriguez blasted a three-run home run, his second bomb of the season. Binghamton tagged Portland starter Chris Balcom-Miller for six runs over the first three innings. The Sea Dogs pen allowed just one un-earned run over six frames.
