
The Great Danes extended their lead to four runs, 4-0, in the bottom of the fifth witha two-run shot to left by Vicky McFarland. Then in the bottom of the 6th, Cilley led off the inning with a single to center, Charlise Castro reached on a fielder's choice, Katie Wambold drove in Castro with a double to center to go up 5-0.
Christina Patrick would come in to pinch run for Kylie Apostolina after getting hit by a pitch. Talerico would follow by driving in both Wambold and Patrick with a single to center.
Brittany MacFawn (16-4) went into the seventh inning for the second consecutive start bidding for her first career perfect game. But Binghamton's (15-24, 6-9 AE) Jessica Phillips would break it up with a homerun to center field to cut the deficit to six, 7-1.
But MacFawn would finish out the game with a 1-2-3 inning to win her 16th this season.
UAlbany will look to carry its six-game winning streak on Thursday, April 26 in a non-conferencedouble header against Bryant at Albany for the finale of the 12-game homestand.
