REAGAN HONORED BY CAPITAL DISTRICT NFF

John Reagan, a three-year letterwinner for the Orange football team, is one of 14 players who have earned induction into the Capital District Chapter of the National Football Foundation (NFF) and College Hall of Fame.

Reagan was a center for the Orange from 1991-93, and was part of the team that defeated Colorado in the 1993 Fiesta Bowl. During that season, Reagan blocked for Marvin Graves, who led the BIG EAST with 2,296 passing yards as well as David Walker, who led Syracuse with 855 yards on the ground.

In Reagan's three seasons with SU, the Orange went 26-8-1 and appeared in back-to-back- bowl games. He was also a tri-captain during the 1993 campaign. In the classroom, Reagan was a two-time selection to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team (1992-93). Reagan joins former Syracuse standout Deval Glover, who was inducted into in 2011.

The 2012 Capital Region Football Hall of Fame Induction Class will be honored on August 4 at Michael's Banquet House in Latham, N.J. Tickets are still available for the event, which begins at 6:00 p.m., and includes drinks hors d'oeuvres and induction ceremony for $40.
